BIOMASA GACYL
Sustainable innovation project developed in Galicia – Asturias – Castilla & León
It's axis is the best use of forest land and waste from timber activity in the area. It has three complementary lines of action: agricultural-forestry, industrial and methodological, which will allow forest residues to be converted into biomass, condition the land after logging and diversify its use. As a result, it would be achieved: minimize forest fires, make profitable waste by producing a renewable energy source of lower cost for local use, promote new productive activities in the available lands and generate employment. All this within an enabling framework for rural entrepreneurship.
